After she and Claw Noir reformed, Shadybug decided to rename herself Ladybug in honor of her counterpart, who hugged her and did a "pound it" before returning to her universe with Claw Noir and Betterfly. After the heroes escaped, Shadybug went to Marinette's room to find clues, where she found about her being in love with Adrien, much to her disgust. After realizing no wish could save her from her affliction nor grant her a better life, Shadybug broke in tears.
Superhero identity:
Betterfly pleads with Marinette to take him to Ladybug and Chat Noir, but Marinette, unsure to whether trust him, declines his request, denying any knowledge of their whereabouts. Alya briefly regains consciousness and wonders if he's Monarch, but Betterfly begins explaining that Alya is an ally in his universe and created a portal connection between his and their world. As the good counterpart of his partner, Ladybug was an enemy of his as well, especially after she stopped him and Shadybug from taking Betterfly's Miraculous and Claw Noir mocked her statements that the Miraculouses are only meant to be used by good and also destroyed her Lucky Charm object.

As Claw Noir, Adrien became more aggressive and destructive with his powers, showing no hesitation or fear of hurting others or himself with them. After his redemption, he no longer has black lips, the under-cut of his hair grew and turned blonde, his eyes became green and his spiked bell turned into a golden one.
Claw Noir, now feeling immense remorse for his actions, gives Adrien back his ring and reconciles with him. Due to removed restrictions on his Miraculous however, he could use his power as many times as he liked and to greater extents. He explains how The Supreme uses them to perpetuate his evil rule on the alternate universe where Butterfly is from. Admitting he did indeed steal two Miraculouses and used them for the wrong reasons, he hurt someone he loved dearly and decided he needed to use his powers for good. When talking to Sabine, she said the sewing machine was "broken" while looking at herself in the mirror, implying that was how she saw herself.
She jumps on Marinette's bed and briefly glances at her photo board before looking up at the balcony, stating Betterfly must've gone out through there. Claw Noir summons his Cataclysm and blasts the bedroom wall with it before leaping out of it, which consequently alerts Tom and Sabine. Monarch then unifies the Butterfly Miraculous and the Horse with the Mouse, Bee and Rooster Miraculouses while getting rid of the Fox and Ox. He divides himself in three clones, two of which use the power of Sublimation to get himself invisible. In Monarch's lair, Gabriel who unifies the Butterfly and Horse Miraculouses becomes Monarch and creates a megakuma.
